The Tower is a completely unique and very special place to stay in Tuscany. It is situated in the grounds of a historic castle and would once have been the watchtower of the castle complex.

Inside, the accommodation is arranged over three floors, with each floor connected with wooden stairs. On thenfirst floor there is a small but fully functional kitchen. On the second floor, guests will find a comfortable living area. A window here provides incredible views over the surrounding area. Finally, on the third and final floor, there is a bedroom with dormer window allowing guests to sleep beneath the blanket of stars above.

Outside, guests staying at The Tower enjoy access to an intimate garden sat beneath the medieval wall of the castle.

This truly is a one-of-a-kind place to stay for a very special stay in Tuscany.

The Tower is located just a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from the Tuscan town of Stia. There are a number of restaurants, cafes and bars here. The owners of The Tower also own a superb restaurant within the estate which is open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and for lunch on Sunday. Reservations are required.

There is so much to see and do during your stay at this Tower House Tuscany. Some of our favourite things include the castles of Poppi and Romena, the church of Pieve di Romena, the Camaldoli Monastery and La Verna Sanctuary. If you enjoy hiking, there are some wonderful walks in the area. Alternatively, if you prefer a faster pace, we can recommend some great bike rides both in the forest and along the Arno River.

Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Assisi are also all easy day trips to enjoy. And we would recommend that you also make the time to explore the nearby villages of Anghiari and Bibbiena which are both nearby.
