Guests staying here also enjoy use of a shared infinity swimming pool surrounded by luxury loungers.
Inside this Chianti apartment rental, there is an open plan living, dining and kitchenette area. There is a dining table seating up to six people. However, the property also enjoys a private terrace with large outdoor table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining. The terrace overlooks the infinity pool and the Chianti countryside. The property also boasts two double bedrooms, one with king size bed and one with smaller double bed. There is a bathroom with class Tuscan styled sanitary ware.
This is an ideal Chianti apartment rental for two couples to enjoy together, or for a family with children.
The apartment is located just 5 minutes from Castellina in Chianti where there is a good selection of shops and supermarkets. It is easy to access Italy's public transport network from here allowing you to reach Tuscany's main towns and cities such as Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Pisa, Montepulciano and Montalcino.
For those who want the freedom that self catering accommodation offers but who want some of the perks that hotels offer, it's important to note that breakfast can be provided within the lovely breakfast room within the village. This is a small additional cost.
The apartment was well situated (being five/ten minutes drive from Castellina in Chianti which was a lovely little town). The accommodation was excellent. The swimming pool lovely and the scenery breath taking. Having the option to have breakfast was great (breakfast was good). The staff were helpful and friendly. Whoever did the interior designing for these apartments did a superb job. The apartment we were in was simply, but beautifully decorated. Solid furniture . The whole place had such a good feel to it. It was also child friendly. We have two (very active) boys who are six and nine. It felt safe. Our only criticism was the lack of a toaster in the kitchen area and we could have done with some instructions on how to use the oven (we never did work out how to use it)! – There were instructions for the dishwasher and the washing machine but none for the oven. My husband would also have a liked a fan in our bedroom because it was very hot and obviously the apartments are not air conditioned. We would definitely recommend Borgo Pietrafitta to our friends and we would happily go back there.
