Free Air Adventure near Bellano is a great place to experience a different kind of flight and enjoy paragliding for the first time. The club specialises in tandem flights, allowing you to experience the exhilaration of free flying whilst having the reassurance that you are in the safe hands of an experienced pilot. The Cavalcalrio Club near Bellagio also offers two seater paragliding flights from 1200 metres.
The Cavalcalrio Club also offers canyoning and rock climbing excursions in nearby Varenna. For those experienced climbers, the dramatic cliffs around Lake Como are perfect climbing territory. The majority of the rock climbing on offer is situated on the Eastern sides of the lake around Lecco. There is an enormous variety of rock climbing to be found here, with 65 different crags to choose from and 1000’s of routes at all grades. For those looking for an opportunity to climb on the Eastern side of the lake, there is a popular climbing ‘gym’ at Menaggio. To reach it, simply follow the main road leading out of town to the north (direction Colico). When you get to the entrance of a tunnel you take the pedestrian road on the outside of the tunnel where you will find the rock face.
