Masseria Luci is a traditional Puglia masseria, beautifully renovated and furnished inside. It provides an elegant and refined base for your Puglia holiday. So important is this building that it is actually registered as a historical building of national interest, thanks to its original 15th century stonework, incredible vaulted rooms and wooden lintels. With five bedrooms, each room is incredibly spacious and it provides an extremely large property for a group of up to ten to enjoy.
Guests enter this Puglia masseria through glass-fronted doors. To the left is a spacious living area with wonderful open fireplace around which comfortable sofas are arranged. There is also a TV here. A few steps lead down to a smaller dining area, furnished with beautiful antique table. Double doors lead from here outside to the front of the property as well as to the pool area at the rear.
nFrom this room, you move on into the kitchen. This is small in size but well equipped with everything guests could need including gas hob, electric oven and microwave. Another room leads from here, furnished with modern round glass table around which four wicker chairs are arranged. There is a large fridge / freezer in this room as well providing guests with plenty of space to store their fresh fruit, vegetables and meat.
All five bedrooms in this Puglia masseria are large, bright and airy boasting huge ensuite bathrooms. All the bathrooms are new, elegant and contemporary in style with large walk-in chrome showers. The owners have cleverly incorporated the original stonework into the design though giving them a unique look and feel. In fact, inside this Puglia masseria, the decor throughout is a perfect mix of old and new, creating an authentic and welcoming space with all the luxuries of 21st century living. All bedrooms enjoy direct access to the outside.
Outside, there isn't just one but two BBQs for guests to use, a newly constructed private infinity swimming pool (11.5 m x 6 m and with a depth of 1.48 metres) and plenty of sun loungers surrounding it. A vine-covered pergola makes an elegant outdoor seating area at this Puglia masseria.
Please note that there is an original storage building within the estate that is currently closed to guests as the restoration work on this has not yet been completed. Please also note that, when required, heating is an additional cost payable based on consumption.
This Puglia masseria is just a short drive to some of Puglia's best beaches, including the Marina di Pescoluse (affectionately known as the Maldives of Italy!) and just a 5 minute drive from Maglie which offers a good selection of shops and restaurants. It's also less than half an hours drive to reach the magical city of Otranto.
