This traditional Sicily villa is situated in a charming residential area not far from the centre of Marsala. This is one of the oldest towns in Sicily, famous for its Marsala wine and its architecture. Visitors should make a point of visiting the ruins of a Phoenician fortress on the nearby island of Mothia that dates back to the 4th century BC. It's also worth hopping on one of the many boats that leave from the port of Marsala to the other islands of the Aegadian archipelago including Favignana and Levanzo.
The nearest sandy beaches are about 10-15 kilometres away but there is access to the sea just 4 km away. The beaches in this area are excellent for families with young children as the sea remains shallow for quite a way.
