This Sicily villa near the beach is in the most idyllic location. Just a short walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Western Sicily, this villa offers the ultimate in peace and quiet. The view from every part of the villa is just breathtaking whatever time of day it is. Behind, there are the impressive mountains whilst in front is the stretch of coast between the town of Cornino and the Mount Cofano Nature Reserve.

The accommodation in this Sicily villa near the beach is arranged over two levels. On the ground floor is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Here there is a lovely corner fireplace, a circular dining table and ample sofas arranged around a TV. The kitchen is traditional in style and is well equipped. There is also a bathroom on this floor.

Steps lead down to the lower ground floor of this Sicily villa near the beach. Here there are three inviting double bedrooms. Each enjoys natural light from the windows. One of these bedrooms also has an extra single bed whilst another bed has a pouf that can be converted into another bed for a young child. An air conditioning unit positioned in the hallway ensures that the bedrooms here remain cool at night. There is also a second bathroom on this level.

The outdoor area of this Sicily villa near the beach is our favourite part of the property though. A raised private pool is surrounded by a wooden terrace furnished with loungers. Here you can soak up the Sicilian sun or enjoy an aperitivo whilst watching the sun set over the Mediterranean Sea.

Also outside is a built in brick BBQ and a wood oven. There is a table for al fresco dining.

The grounds have intentionally not been cultivated to create a formal garden but instead have been left more wild and natural. This is to respect the beauty of the Sicilian countryside that surrounds it. It's an intentional decision made by the owners to preserve the natural environment in which this Sicily villa near the beach sits.

We find guests tend to spend most of their time here at the pool or on the beach which is an easy walk away. However, if you do wish to explore the island, then Tripani, San Vito lo Capo and Erice are all less than 20 km away. Incidentally, there is a daily boat service from Trapani to the Aegadian Islands which are well worth a visit. Marsala, Selinunte and Segesta are within a 50 km radius.
