On the ground floor, there is a living area, separate dining room, large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher,. There is also a bathroom with shower on this floor. Upstairs, there is a second, larger living area. In addition there are four bedrooms on this floor. The first is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bath tub. There are then two twin bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. One of these bedrooms also has a ensuite bathroom with shower. The fourth bedroom is the smallest room but is ideal for children with a set of bunk beds.

The entire property has been furnished with taste and in keeping with the age of the property, dating as it does to the second half of the sixteenth century. The owners really have created a warm and inviting space for guests to enjoy. The outside space is just as much a work of art, with its green spaces, statues, stone basins and lakes.

There is a private pool (open from 20 May to 26 September each year) measuring 5 metres by 8 metres, as well as a BBQ area and wonderful portico under which sits a large table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining.

The location is ideal for those looking to explore the area during their stay. With Lucca almost on the doorstep, Florence is under an hour away, Pisa less than half an hour away and Siena less than a 90 minute drive. All the wonderful beaches of Versilia can be reached in just 30 minutes. Besides their fantastic beaches during the day, the coastal towns of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi also offer nighttime entertainment as well as many top designer stores and a wonderful carnival across February and March!

The property is just 11 kilometres from the beautiful city of Lucca which is certainly one of the prettiest spots in Tuscany. Closer to the villa, the nearby town of Camigliano has a selection of general food stores whilst a bit further on, Segrmigno (5km) is a delightful town boasting a superb array of amenities including shops, bars and restaurants.
