A note from Jo
This San Gimignano villa rental is very much a traditional villa in an idyllic rural setting. We particularly love the views across the valley from the swimming pool to the famous towers of San Gimignano.
Thank you Jo! We had a wonderful time at Villa Remignoli! Everything was terrific. The owners were staying at the property next door and they were helpful & delightful! Also, the chef you recommended (Laura and Jean Luc) were fabulous. Even the weather was perfect. Thanks for your coordination of the vacation.
We stay in the villa for 5 nights. 5 couples, 3 infants. Everything was like it describes in the site. Very large rooms with all the facilities you need. Wifi works perfectly, the pool was very clean. the kitchen was well equipped, the dining room very large and seats 12 diners. The garden is beautiful and very enjoyable place to relax.
We had a great time in Tuscany! It was real hot and we could not cycle all the routes we had planned before. But we could take the train back from Siena with the mountain bike very handy. The swimming pool was therefore fantastic! Unfortunately there were not enough sunbeds (only four). The location of the villa is perfect. To be honest I was a bit disappointed when I entered the villa, it looked a bit outdated. But during the week it seemed everything we needed was there. The view was fantastic!!!!…The sleeping rooms were nice. Lots of space, good beds. The bathrooms were a bit old…. Some toilets made a lot of noise. Nearby, 1,5 km away, we walked it, is Fattoria Poggio Alloro, a biologic family farm. We had a guided tour there, had dinner for 3 evenings and bought some nice wine, olive oil etc.
