This is a contemporary 3 bedroom Italian Lakes apartment sleeping up to 8 people with stunning lake views. The apartment is within walking distance a village where there is a fantastic little pizzeria. It is also only 2 miles from Luino with its wider selection of shops and restaurants. Less than 10 miles from the Swiss border, it also provides easy access to the Lugano, Ascona and Locarno. Lake Como is a 1 hour drive and trains run direct from Luino to Milan.
This 3 bedroom Italian Lakes apartment comprises a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, kettle, toaster and American style fridge freezer with ice on tap. There is also a washing machine in the property. Doors lead out from the kitchen and living area onto the extremely large wrap-a-round terrace which circles 3 sides of the property.
This Italian Lakes apartment also has two double bedrooms, one with study area and ensuite bathroom, as well as a third bedroom with adult size bunk beds. Please note that this room is very small and also has a washing machine and boiler present. There is a modern family bathroom with large shower.
The outdoor space in this Italian Lakes apartment is fantastic, with plenty of seating and sun beds. The development has secure electric gates and plenty of parking. Please note that there are no pavements on the road leading from the apartment to the village and so care must be taken when walking up with children. However, this is not a busy road and the walk is less than 100 metres on this road.
Brezzo di Bedero is a lovely little village on the banks of Lake Maggiore. It has a great pizzeria which is extremely popular with the locals. It's only a 5 minute drive down the hillside from this Italian Lakes apartment to the nearest town where there are a selection of shops and restaurants including a large Carrefour supermarket. This is the Italian Lakes apartment that I stayed in when I first visited this part of Italy so it's a property I have a real soft spot for. I remember with fondness evenings spent on the wrap-a-round terrace enjoying the incredible 180 degree views up and down the lake. Enjoying the sun all day long, from breakfast through to sunset, it's a fantastic place to stay.
We stayed in the beautiful apartment for one week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is modern and very comfortable with all the mod cons. The views are breathtaking. You will not be disappointed!!
Very nice, new, well furnished and comfortable apartment with modern kitchen, perfect for small family or couples vacation and pets are welcome ! The view really is worth a million and location is near good restaurants and grocery not to mention short drive to many other beautiful seaside towns to explore. I would not hesitate to go back.
We love the apartment. We have everything we need and the views are fabulous. Even the weather is being kind. The only thing which would have made things a little easier would be an extra key as we don’t always stay together and have to coordinate times. I will certainly recommend it to my friends…. we have had a super week beyond expectations.
It was very well equipped! And of course the wonderful view! We really enjoyed our stay, but too short…
The apartment was absolutely beautiful, extremely comfortable, full of light and had incredible views… The pictures on the website certainly can’t capture the beauty of this place! We would love to return sometime for a longer stay and would, without hesitation, recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
We found the apartment clean, spacious and well equipped. Access is a bit scary until you get used to it. I feel that to describe it as three bedroom is a little misleading as the bunk beds are effectively in a store room/utility. Fitting a travel cot in as well was very tight. We enjoyed our stay and were blessed with great weather. If I were to make any constructive suggestions I would say that a wind-out canopy along the front elevation (as some of the other flats have) would greatly add to it’s usability).
Excellent kitchen – well equipped, everything working well and loved the fridge & constant ice! Beds very comfortable and bathrooms good standard and well maintained. Deck / balcony fabulous – we adored the view and appreciated all the furniture provided and the lovely clean, new chair pads. Appreciated supply of soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, loo paper etc (we got none of this at our subsequent apartment on Garda!). Have rarely stayed in rented accommodation where so much thought had clearly gone into what we might need and our children appreciated the free WIFI as well! As you say, it was hot and we would have had difficulty sleeping had we not brought our own fans (perhaps the apartment could have a few of its own provided?). The deck area did not have enough shade at the end of the day – perhaps another umbrella, or even an awning like some of the other apartments in the building? Bed linen is a little past its best (and we were one duvet cover short) which was a bit of a shame as everything else was to such a high standard. Imitalia gave us the wrong key and I (stupidly) did not check on the spot, so we had to return all the way back to Luino to get the correct keys, which caused us a bit of stress and hassle. We did miss the tiny little turning initially – some sort of sign approaching from Luino would be so helpful. We had trouble finding where to take our rubbish – some info on this in the apartment would be useful. Sorry, this sounds very critical and it’s not meant to be. We rent 5/6 properties in the U.K. and Europe every year and Sopra di Lago was without doubt one of the nicest we have stayed in and one that will stay in our memories for a very long time. I would recommend it to anyone and will do one of my usual TripAdvisor reviews saying so!
We’ve had a lovely stay at the apartment. I can’t think of anything that is needed to make the place more perfect! The information could do with a little updating as the promenade is being regenerated so I think car parks etc have moved, but obviously with a town like this things will constantly change. Maybe a comments book so that we could let future guests know things like that without you constantly having to update your information.
Just a quick note to say we had a fantastic time on Lake Maggiore and thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful apartment. We will definitely return in due course.
We had a great week at the apartment. It was really clean and more spacious than we thought it might have been from the web pictures. The view was amazing.
